Help Promote Fairness for Peace Corps Volunteers
Justice for Peace Corps Volunteers

Right now, if a woman serving abroad in the Peace Corps is raped and needs abortion care, she’s on her own.

That’s because abortion coverage is completely banned for women in the Peace Corps who become pregnant from rape or if they face life-threatening complications during pregnancy, unlike women serving in the military.

Fortunately, pro-choice lawmakers are leading the charge to change this discriminatory policy.

Tell members of Congress to support the Peace Corps Equity Act and give volunteers the same coverage as women in the military and other federal employees.
